first off, movies can be fake or real.(*coughperferablyfakecough*)
for the sub boards, pre production means there is still casting, writing, etc. filming is obvious. post production means it's being edited and prepped for release. released can be in theaters or already on dvd. then there's a board just for tv. all movies will be released at some point, the date is up to the creator, we just ask there be a few months between phases.
when signing up for roles, try not to hog them up. your character can't be filming a million movies at once, but if they have one in post production and one filming, that's a little more possible.
casting is ultimately up to whoever posted the movie, but we would prefer a first come-first serve. if you want someone in a different role, just say so politely.
